Packet Pick-Up

Friday, November 16 from 3:00 – 7:00 pm.
Come to mezzanine level of the Hotel Hot Springs & Spa for packet pickup on Friday.

Saturday, November 17 at 6:00am
Race Day registration and packet pick-up will be available in the Bank of the Ozarks Arena lobby (Convention Blvd and Laurel Street) near the starting line.

Directions & Parking

From I-30: Coming from the northeast: exit I-30 onto US-70 W (exit 111).
Take US-70 ( E Grand Ave ) – approx. 2 miles into Hot Springs and turn right onto Convention Blvd. The parking lots will be on the right.

Coming from the southwest: exit I-30 onto US-270 (exit 98B).
Take US-270 ( Malvern Ave ) - 18 miles into Hot Springs and turn right onto Convention Blvd.

There is plenty of free parking surrounding the convention center with the preferred location being the large parking lot on Convention Blvd between Laurel Street and Beech Street – across the street from the Embassy Suites.

Please be aware that Convention Blvd will be closed at 7:00 am and access to this parking lot will be limited to traffic traveling west (from Grand Avenue). Access to the parking lot can also be made from Spring Street via Palm Street.

Hotels & Lodging

The Hotel Hot Springs and Spa (305 Malvern Avenue) is a block away from the start/finish line and is the site for packet pick-up and onsite registration on Friday, November 17. To get the discounted room rate, you must call for reservations toll free at (877) 623-6697 or (501) 623-6600 and acknowledge you are with the Spa Running Festival. The discount rates are available until November 6, 2017; after November 6, room rates will be the best available rate. www.hotelhotsprings.org

Embassy Suites Hotel (400 Convention Blvd.) is located at the start/finish line. Discounted reservations can be made by phone or online. Click here for available rates.

Arlington Resort Hotel and Spa (239 Central Avenue) located in historic downtown and adjacent to the Hot Springs National Park. A short 10-15 minute walk to the start line. Dick’s Sporting Goods Gift Certificates will be given to the top three male and female finishers in the 10K Race. Go Running! Gift Certificates will be given to the top three male and female finishers in the Summit2 Challenge Half Marathon.

The Spa Running Festival

Half Marathon, 10K, 5K & 1K Squirt Race

The Spa Running Festival is an event that has a race for everyone ..... kids, walkers, beginners to elite runners and those that like a challenge! This year will be the 36th running of the Spa 10K and it has been selected by the Road Runners Club of America as the RRCA Southern Region 10K Championship Race. 

The 5K is for both walkers and runners! 

The 1K Squirt Race is for kids 2 - 10 years of age and so much fun to watch!

The challenging Half Marathon returns for the 3rd year! If you liked the challenge of the Spa 10K running over West Mountain, then you are going to like the Half Marathon because you get to run West Mountain and to the top of the Summit twice - thus the name Summit² Challenge!  Are You Up To The Challenge?

The Festival is receiving national recognition in the running community. Runner’s World Magazine featured the Spa Running Festival in the November 2015 edition and the 10K received recognition as a Bucket List event in the Runner’s World “Top 10 Races In or Near a National Park.”
