As part of the Spa Pacers' Pace For the Race Training Clinic, Arkansas Blue Cross and Blue Shield "BCBS" is partnering with the Spa Running Festival to include a training program for the Healthy Living initiative to help INSURE clinic participants can reach the finish line on November 18, 2017 and to promote a happy and healthy lifestyle.
The training program is an optional feature, but if you meet the challenge of earning 100 points through various healthy initiatives, you will receive a great BCBS Training Program In-Training Shirt!
The Pace for the Race clinic meets every Tuesday and Thursday beginning at 5:45 pm at the Transportation Depot. Team leaders will help train you in your goal to complete the race distance of your choice (5k, 10k, or Half Marathon). In addition, there will be informational sessions on safety, nutrition, exercising, injury prevention, proper gear selection, and most importantly, running!
